Transit Visa
This visa is given to persons continuing their journey to another country within a reasonable time provided they hold valid and confirmed tickets / document to travel to their next destination. A transit visa is also required by persons joining or working on a transport vehicle that will continue its journey putside Indonesian territory. Applicants in this category mush have proof of a work contract pertaining to that effect.
Validity of visa will be three months from the date issue and the maximum length of stay is 3 (three) days/72 hours from the date of arrival in Indonesia.
Request for a Transit Visa must be submitted by filling out the appropriate registration form (2 copies for each person) and enclosing:
• Passport must be valid at least 6 months from the date of entry into Indonesia
• One completed visa application form
• One coloured passport size photograph (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm)
• Proof of work contract/ a letter of recommendation from the applicant's firm in Australia and its counterpart in Indonesia (See Limited Stay Visa requirement point 3)
• Valid and confirmed tickets and other documents to travel to the applicant's next destination
• Evidence of sufficient funds to maintain oneself whilst staying in Indonesia (e.g. a recent Bank Statement, etc)
